Where are you located?
Our offices are in Grapevine, Texas; the warehouse is in Northeast Pennsylvania. We currently do not have "bricks & mortar" retail stores.
Do you ship to Canada/Mexico/Europe/Asia?
We currently only ship within the 50 United States and the District of Columbia.
Will my perishables survive transit?
We vacuum seal our cheeses, then pack them with freezer packs to keep them cold inside a sealed Styrofoam container. During the summer, we double up the freeze packs with dry ice to keep the cheeses fresh. We also schedule your shipment to avoid sitting in a shipper’s warehouse over the weekend; so if you order on Friday with a 2-Day Air shipping option, we will hold your order until Monday so it does not spend Saturday and Sunday in an unrefrigerated warehouse. What carriers do you ship through?
We primarily ship through FedEx and UPS.
How is shipping calculated?
Shipping costs are determined by the weight of your package, the zip code we are shipping to, and whether the items you choose are non-perishable, perishable, or highly perishable. Non-perishable item include products such as oil and biscuits, while perishable items include most cheeses, and highly-perishable items are very fresh items such as butter, soft cheeses, and smoked salmon.
This is a gift; do you include prices on your packing slip?
No, the packing slip only includes a list of what products are in the package, the address we are shipping to, and who the gift is from. No prices are included in your package’s shipment.
Do "Of the Month" products ship every month, or every other month?
Each of our “Of The Month” products ships every consecutive month for the term of your purchase.
What web browsers do you support?
While we strive to support all major browsers, the Foods of the World website is optimized for Internet Explorer version 7.0+ and Mozilla Firefox version 2.0+ with javascript version 1.7+ and Flash Player version 8+ enabled.
